Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MitraSpec LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use ResaleVision (resalevision.app, resale-vision.vercel.app, the “Service”).

• Account information — your email address, collected when you sign in via magic link. We do not store passwords.
• Scan content — photos you submit to the Service, the items our AI identifies in them, and the resale value estimates we produce.
• Subscription information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription status and tier. We do not see your full payment card details; those are handled by our payment processor, Paddle.
• Usage data — IP address, device type, timestamps of requests, and error logs, used for security and service quality.

• To provide AI valuations and the core scanning service.
• To autosave your scan history and let you export your data (paid tiers).
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, service updates). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To enforce monthly scan limits.
• To debug, monitor uptime, and prevent abuse.

We rely on the following third parties to deliver the Service. Each processes a limited slice of your data for the specific purpose described.

• Supabase — account storage, scan history database, photo thumbnails.
• Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions.
• Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (GPT-4o) — AI vision and item identification on submitted photos.
• Google Cloud Vision — object detection on submitted photos.
• eBay — public listing search for resale-comp pricing. No personal data shared.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — application hosting.

Each provider has its own privacy practices. We share only the minimum data required for them to perform their function.

For Free users, photos submitted for scanning are processed in real time and not retained server-side after the scan completes. AI processors receive your photo, return their result, and the upload is discarded.

For Pro and Pro+ users, scan thumbnails (≈150 KB scaled-down JPEGs) are stored in our private storage bucket so you can revisit them via Scan History. You can delete saved scans at any time from the History page.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

You can:

• View and export your scan history at any time (Pro tier).
• Delete your account by contacting dan@mitraspec.com. Account deletion removes your profile, scan history, and stored thumbnails within 30 days.
• Cancel your subscription at any time via the subscription portal or by contacting us.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted by role-based access control. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users and posted on this page with a new effective date.
