Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ResaleVision (resalevision.app and resale-vision.vercel.app, the “Service”), operated by MitraSpec LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By signing in, you represent that you meet this requirement and have authority to enter into these Terms.

ResaleVision is an AI-powered resale valuation tool. It identifies items in photos you submit and estimates their resale value.

Valuations are AI-generated estimates based on publicly available data and current market signals. They are not appraisals, not guarantees, and should be used as one input among many in your purchasing or selling decisions.

We do not guarantee that any item you scan will sell for the estimated value, will sell at all, is authentic, or is fit for any particular purpose.

You access the Service via magic-link email authentication. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox and for any activity under your account.

Paid subscriptions (Pro at $9.99/month, Pro+ at $14.99/month) renew monthly until canceled. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you retain paid features through the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

Pricing and feature inclusions are listed on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice for new sign-ups. Existing subscribers are grandfathered into the price in effect when they subscribed unless we notify otherwise.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Use the Service to identify items for unlawful resale (e.g., counterfeit goods, stolen items, illegal substances).
• Bypass or attempt to bypass scan-limit enforcement, signup gating, or other usage controls.
• Submit photos that contain other people’s personal information without their consent, copyrighted material you do not own, or unlawful content.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

You retain ownership of the photos you submit. By submitting photos, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing valuations and (for paid tiers) storing thumbnails in your scan history. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

Third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) have their own data-handling terms which apply when your photo is processed by them; see our Privacy Policy for details.

The Service, including the user interface, AI-generated valuations, software, and brand elements, is owned by MitraSpec LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

The Service displays public eBay listings via the eBay Browse API. Outbound links to eBay are governed by eBay’s terms; we are not responsible for content or transactions on third-party sites.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that valuations are accurate or that any item will sell for the estimated price.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MitraSpec LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MitraSpec LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active users. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
